    This tragedy is a reflection of the KFC government......the academics are warning that the are no brakes on the President,She's heading for the buffers but its going to be a catastrophic impact when it hits and hugh numbers are going to get hurt.In the meantime her ministers are saying ...“Keep going”.They should be advising her to stop the train and get the hell out of it and let someone else who knows what they are doing take charge.

    It seems like nothing can stop an Argentinian train, not the brakes, not the buffers, and not the non-white people that they keep pushing under them.

    They were asking for it according to this bloke

    So too were the comments made by other government spokesmen. According to current Transport Secretary Juan Pablo Schiavi,so many people died last week because it was a working day and they should have chosen some other time to travel and, in any case, Argentines have the curious habit of crowding at the front of the train to save time when they get off.

    But, the latest reports from the Argentina government is that the engineer might have been asleep or “distracted”. Any excuse other than admit that the CFK givernment f--ked up, as usual.

    About two years ago TBA was investigated... they get a zillion dollars a year subsidy... they said a large slab of that had been given to the transport minister at the time... not sure if federal or BA government.

    Don't know what happened after that... maybe he went in front of the Tuesday judge... KFCs tame one....

    I would suggest to GreekYoghurt to preocupy himself more about the non-whites being shot and murdered in subway stations in Britain [passim], merely because they were “acting weird”.

    Or concern himself about the shooting a suspect in police custody and consequently the country going up in flames for two weeks like a ready-made pyre waiting to go off.

    Or perpend on this:

    Oh yes, all is swell in the good ol'north.

    Google Police shooting Argentina, like shooting argies in a barrel

    Last month a police eviction in the Argentinian province of Jujuy resulted in four deaths. It was reported, but coverage swiftly petered out and the general reaction was a shrug – “Yes, that happens.” Indeed it does, all the time. A recent study at Tennessee's Vanderbilt University identified Argentina as having one of the worst records of police violence in Latin America, with 8.7% of the population subjected to some form of violence and abuse by the Argentinian police forces in 2009.

    The victim was shot yesterday in San Telmo when leaving work. He died from a gunshot to the head. According to police sources, the gun of the federal police officer went off by accident, when the officer ran to capture three children who had just robbed a wallet.

    However, witnesses, colleagues and relatives of the young man are confident that his gun went off accidentally regardless of this incident. There are suspicions that the shooting was in relation to student groups that got together in the area. Supposedly, police groups were arriving to arrest the students, when the gun was fired.

    @8,9

    Do the Argentinian Police wear brown shirts (Sturmabteilung) or black (MVSN,SS)?

    #7 - Yes, you heard correctly. It was a federal transport minister, not the BA. As of today, I think that this federal minister (now ex-transport minister) has never been punished, just “forgotten” and moved to some other government protected position.
