    It is hard to contemplate the “Intellectual Property Rights” of a company in relation to a packet of fags without having to stifle a giggle.

    The intellectual proprty rights (IP) relate to the 80% plain covering removing the space needed to show the BRAND, which in itself is deemed IP under the agreements.

    I wonder what Marlboro would do if ALL tobacco were prohibited from sale?

    This will never happen, particularly in Uruguay, because smoking is very ingrained in the population.
