Summers invites Argentina to sit down and enter into a dialogue with the people of the Falklands

The first petitioner for the Falkland Islands MLA Roger Edwards before the UN Decolonization Committee said that Argentina claims to fight against colonialism yet wishes to annex the Islands and “subject our people to alien subjugation and domination”, which is the very definition of colonialism.

US consumer prices fall 0.3% in May as petrol prices drop 6.8%

US consumer prices fell by 0.3% in May, the biggest monthly fall in more than three years, due largely to a sharp drop in petrol prices. Petrol prices fell 6.8%, while food prices were unchanged, the Labour Department said.
