Believe it or not: Falklands, a nation with a comfortable budget surplus
The Falkland Islands Government accounts showed a surplus of £4.297 million compared to a revised budget surplus of £2.448 million (a positive performance of £3.190 million) for the first three months of the 2012/13 financial year, according to the Financial Management Report presented this week to the Standing Finance Committee. You can't steal something that belongs to you. The Falkland Islands community is older than the republic of Argentina, that's why all your sovereignty claims are erroneous.
Poor Think. Argentina has loads of natural resources, but your government at every level is so corrupt that nothing EVER gets done. Then as icing on the cake, your government then STEALS a company erroneously calling it 'nationalisation' and break your own constitution to do it.
So since your government is so corrupt, and your situation so dire, you look on the Falklands with envious eyes because they are making a success of their lives, their community and their nation.
Yes Think. As of March 2013 the Falklands will be internationally recognised as a self-governing British Overseas Territory at their own request.
And Argentina will continue on a path of self destruction, with your government continuously humiliating you on the international stage.
Why do you think they let Timidman ramble at the UN? Because they can all do with a bit of comic relief every now and then.

Your resources far outnumber what the Falklands have, yet you want theirs because they manage theirs properly while you can't even get anyone to invest in developing yours and you want to take them over like the pirates you are.
Pull your fingers out, do some work and run your own country properly, then you will make so much money you can laugh at the Falklands rather than cast your thieving eyes on someone elses property.
The Falklands resources belong to the Falkland Islanders not your greedy pirate friends who can't even extract theirs.

This would be a good lesson for our Argentine neighbours. Can you not see that small is more manageable. You would be wise to open your eyes to this statement. Trying to grab even more land from another when you have not even touched the bare basics of wonderfull things with your own. Have you not also notice that the man with the smallest parcel of land always tries to get the most out of it while the one with the most cannot find the time to work it. Classic similarities in the Falkland / Argentina situation.

In essence, the nationality of the people living in the Falklands have British citizenship, however, only people classed as Falkland Islanders by the Falklands constitution can vote or run for election, therefore only the islanders can govern the Falklands. Simple enough for you?

See 2065 (XX) of 1965, ratified by later resolutions 1973 (3160, XXVIII) 1976 (31/49), 1982 (37/9), 1983 (38/12), 1984 (39/6), 1985 (40/21), 1986 (41/40), 1987 (42/19) and 1988 (43/25). They all declare the existence of a sovereignty dispute. No self-determination. It is a territory to colonize.

Manages a per capita GDP of US$25,250. US$30,000 less than the Falklands. Not much in the way of diversity. A quarter of output comes from mining and petroleum refining. Lots of opportunities for environmental damage as most argie oil production is off-shore. Chubut produces more than one-fifth of argieland's fish. Not exactly a “land of milk and honey”, is it? More a case of “petrol and fish”. Bit smelly. No wonder you're jealous!

For a start, the Falkland Islanders live on it and have done for hundreds of years. And, just as important, 65 million people say it's theirs. And have the muscle to back it up. A community of people banded together towards one cause can be a nation. The falklands are a group of people, banded together towards makign the falklands better for both its people and others. You see a small island out there in the South Atlantic showing their next door neighbour a country of some 42 million people ( I would have said souls, but we all know that the Argentines sold them a long time ago ) how to a successful economy and basically, do everything right.
If you like, they could even send a deligation to BA and give Ol' Turkey Neck / TMBOA / KFC some lessions in International politic's, people skills and dignity. although, I suspect that if they did, they would be over there for quite a long time................
