Paraguay is doing what she thinks is best for Paraguay. It may be that Mercosurs duplicity is a blessing in disguise.

It's got to be better than staying in the corrupt Mercosur, who don't even follow their own rules.

Good luck to that nice and corrupt poor begger nation.

”However since (landlocked) Paraguay has no outlet to the sea “it can’t and shouldn’t abandon hastily any of the blocks to which it belongs, particularly Mercosur“

Yup, well sais Mrs. Leila Rachid.

”Paraguayan businesspeople “no longer think in terms of Mercosur”

Wonder what business people he talks about. Paraguay is on this level of economic growth thanks to the Brasiguayos (Brazilians with dual citizenship).
