Gracious comments, considering in the last twelve months he was offering to loan his meager warships to Argentina to invade the Falklands again. “We don't have much, but they can have what we have got” , I seem to remember him saying!

It's always a little sad when someone dies. Chavez certainly left a “lasting” impression. Much like many impressions in a cow-pat. Politicians always offer “condolences”. Costs nothing. Now let's look to the future. The new “man” for the time being is Maduro. Doesn't he look a lot like a younger Saddam Hussein? The same hair, the same moustache, the same crocodile tears. For those given to allegory, are we looking at Saint Nicholas or Old Nick? His “history” is that he's a bus driver. He is notable for the way in which his tongue has rarely left Chavez' ass and his support for Gaddafi. He is also noted for referring to his opposition as “faggots”. Whilst possibly true, it wasn't polite and he had to apologise. This, then, is the new “leadership” of Venezuela. Will it mourn the loss of its leader whilst celebrating the highest inflation rate in latam? Will it adopt a new course of openness and enlightenment? Not a chance. The foremost thought will be “How much can we make out of this?” Watch for the hundreds of monuments, “remembrances”, “tributes”. All paid for with public money or costing a fortune. How long will it be before someone comes up with the idea of “Saint Hugo”?

He certainly has left a legacy - Venezuela used to have one of the lowest murder rates (under 10 per 100,000) in Latin America but under his watch it has increased every year and is now 68 per 100,000 (2011). In the same period Colombia's murder rate has halved to 33. Chavez has created a situation similar to that in S.Africa where the govt turns a blind eye to re-distributive criminals. Both the BBC and CNN are completely ignoring this.

Oh dear, the argies castigate Her Majesty The Queen but who else would graciously greet the likes of Chavez, The Trolly Dolly and a whole list of African despots in the 60+ years she has reined?

The Cunt Blair of course needs to be promoted to dead as soon as possible, together with his haradan of a wife.

800 objects at once, spotting tiny items travelling at the speed of sound and five times more efficient.

These are just some of the amazing accolades of Artisan, the new medium range 3D surveillance radar which has been developed for the Royal Navy by BAE Systems. The most sophisticated system ever developed for the fleet is for Type 23 frigates and is capable of cutting through interference equivalent to 10,000 conflicting mobile phone signals.

#6 We seem to have one thing in common at least, hatred of that Thatcherite “Labour” PM Blair! Though I don't want him dead, I want him to live long enough to be put behind bars the way Nestor and Cristina have jailed the junta. Terrible picture, out of so many to choose from, of Chavez, hardly reflective of his overall politics!
