Are they going to bring out the desiccated arm of some long-dead orgiastic pope for them all to pray to in a festival of necromancy and idolatry?

    Normal catholic service then.

No doubt he will pop over to see his small flock in the Falkland Islands and be the first Pope to do so.He would be very welcome by everyone.
However, the Whore of Babylon would throw all the toy's out of the pram ,so that won't happen !

There aren't many golden statues of Mary in the Falklands for him to pray to for magic-luck, so I doubt it's on his top ten list of vacation spots.

... also the choir is made up of middle-aged women.

Glad CFK has said sorry for her and her husband being nasty to the Pope, maybe they could ask him to help with the RG Colonisation of the Falklands, although the Vatican have said it won't, worth a punt

If he does not visit his catholic flock in the Falklands I hope there is a complaint and some good news mileage for the Falklands being bullied again.

I hope he will be impartial and visit as he is a religious leader and not in charge of a country.

“Likewise December 10 will be the 30th anniversary of the return of democracy to Argentina when a civilian government was elected after long years of military dictatorship and the collapse of the regime following the Malvinas invasion disaster.”

    Doesn't the author mean:
“......the collapse of the regime following the resounding defeat of the junta by the United Kingdom.”

He seems like a very nice man, besides being Pope. Let him go to Argentina for Christmas, this was his home.
