Do what you are supposed to do and go spend some dollars.
If we wanted your opinion, you would've had a vote.

In the meantime, you are, of course, free to post your drivel here. At least somebody listens...

@ 5 yes I know what you mean but, No he is not a traitor you can belong to the organization and do nothing for it and ignore completely and seek other avenues and not antagonize the neighbors he is doing the right think that is smart politics contrary to the perception of being a traitor. This guy is very smart I know this for a fact.
I personally know that the US support 100% Paraguay But they cannot in the open announce that policy because of the big commercial interest to the biggest economies in South America that the us have with Brazil and Argentina (I take back the last country Ha-ha)
Do not spec a full support on the open to Paraguay, this is the way real diplomacy and commerce works in the real world.

It is an interesting situation for president elect Cartes . As a businessman he knows full well that Paraguay must remain within Mercosur . A land locked country , open borders and no other allies . However , he is also aware that Paraguayans are more than annoyed by the way they were thrown out of Mercosur to make way for , of all countries , Venezuela . President Mujica's remarks about law , or lack of , still rankles . As does Maduros activities ,on the night of imoeachment , virtually calling on the armed forces to intervene to save Lugo .
If Paraguay can reenter without too many conditions he , Cartes , may well be able to convince the public about reentry . However if they , Mercosur , decide to be difficult it could be difficult .Dear Brazil has lead the way , see other article on acceptance of Venezuela by Paraguay , trying to make things difficult . So typical of Russeffs advisor on foreign affairs or a throw back to old ideas of an Empire ?

#5 - Stupid Paraguay?? So Cartes wants to dab in a little diplomacy; makes sense to me. Friend or Foe, diplomacy is always a good route to try out. As Cartes stated, abandoning would be nonsens, what do you gain by getting out? As of now we are not suffering by staying in. Since no one complies with Mercosur, I'm sure Paraguay will play by those rules as well.

Kicking Paraguay out of Mercosur would be so damaging to the group that it isn't even an option. The suspension was clearly to get Venezuela accepted, but they have never had the intention of kicking Paraguay out.
