I hear there's some lovely Chilean wildlife to be found on the islands of Picton, Lennox and Nueva.

Problem is the downside. A cruise passenger may be “forced” to visit argieland. Still, not to worry, stay on board. The crew will be delighted not to have to check you back aboard.

well played chile.....share the cost to publish the book knowing full well argentina will have another tantrum again and cruises will avoid their ports then next stop chile will be able to cash in on the cruise passengers spending money that argentina clearly didn't want.

Its like a joint purchase of a taxi cab knowing full well the other person is a mentalist facing a driving ban......it just a matter of time!!! well played...

Í have to make a correction about the book....One of the ports mentioned by the authors is not a Patagonian port, it belong to Región de Los Lagos (The Lakes Region) in Chile......May be they ignore this fact but for years the tourism industry and authorities from that Región have been trying to include it into the Chilean Patagonia which is not true....The Chilean Patagonia begins from the southern end of the Cordillera de los Andes (the Andean Mountains) located on the north of the Región de Aysen del General don Carlos Ibáñez del Campo, better known as Región de Aysen, up to the Maghellan Strait shores on the Región de Magallanes y Antártica Chilena......Please, be careful not to be deceived for those bad hosts. Better if they would include Puerto Natales, the beatiful entrance gate to the Torres del Paine National Park and a real Patagonian port even it´s a small one.....
