A career diplomat and an expert in UK affairs has been named Foreign Policy Undersecretary at the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Maria Carolina Perez Colman replaces Maria del Carmen Squeff who was recently nominated as Ambassador before the French government. Read full article

Well, may I send congratulations Ms Perez Colman on getting the post.

You do however have that simpleton as an ambassador to the Court of St James. Is you strategy too have her removed or is it best to keep the fool institue where you can a least try and half control her impromptu and comical outbursts. A true dilemma.

For my part please keep ambassador Castro where she is. She is such a plain source of hilarity and fun with a face to match a corgis bum.

Hope she identifies that the British will talk with Argentina if there are islanders present.

Such a simple measure-that's if Argentina can get over their intense fear of a Falkland Islander.

The mere thought of facing up to an Islander ruined a pair of Gollum's shoes last year.

I'll lend him a pair of wellies next time as long as he doesn't tuck his trousers inside them.

Why do they need Ms Colman (good British name that) when they already have a UK 'expert' ('ex' is a has-been, 'spurt' is a drip under pressure) namely Ms Trolly-Dolly herself.

So the french get a career diplomat, her place taken by this careeer diplomat and The Court to St James gets a career idiot who cannot even ensure normal diplomatic relations.

This of course is TMBOA idea of treating Britain as they “deserve”. Stupid, stupid woman.

I'm not exactly sure that 6 years at the Argentine Embassy in London qualifies you as an expert in British affairs. What more do they need to know that they don't already? My understanding is that the Argentine Ambassador gets invited to very few British Foreign Office engagements.
