Do these idiots sign Auto “agreements” every couple months or is it my imagination?
I will be very surprised if after this is all said and done Argentina has any auto industry left at all.
My guess is they'll pull out soon.

BCRA spent U$120MM trying to support the every failing Peso yesterday. I think they'd be better off just throwing it out the windows.
What a waste of money, they have no understanding of how an economy works.

If Brazil can't afford to buy cars then who in all of South America?

Agri is not going to be the magic bullet either.

It would be funny if people's lives were not at play here.

    5. It is clear the SOY sales are not making up for the dramatic drop on auto exports.
BCRA should be massively building funds to get them through the rest of the year.
    and they're not
They are spending almost as much as they are bringing in from daily Soy sales supporting the failing peso.
Soy sales will only get them through the next month
Then they're in the middle of winter buying fuel with no income.
I really hope there's a long cold wave in BA that lasts 3-4 weeks.
That should be enough to rally the peasants.

#6 add something constructive to the conversation, what does it matter where a person comes from or if they are living in South America or indeed if they have a comment for debate about the region. Refute the argument if you want but personal attack makes you look unreasonable and brainless just like Brasileiro - the majority of people just ignore those posts because they have no credibility, could be sent from a mental institition if you know what I mean.

Not only that yankee.....I think the soy prices will further tank. Decreasing demand coupled with increasing supply is a simple supply and demand equation that seems to elude the kirchner's and kicilloff.

Ford's Argentine expansion is on hold, in fact production halted. These social morons just cannot grasp the concept that businesses are in business for one thing....to make money. Just wait until August in the middle of winter and see what it looks like in SA.

@2 “Do these idiots sign Auto “agreements” every couple ...”
That sounds very intelligent to you?
Seen that the Island team play alone here.
It will be nice if you keep your hate for other people in South America to your selfs.
I do understand must be very lonely down there. A bit of respect will be welcome

Why do you think “yankee boy”lives down there ? By this, Do you mean the Falklands.
I don't notice any respect coming from TTT, Jose, Marcos, Vestige, Brasileioro, Hepatia, Forgetit87 , Think. I presume you think that it only applies to others, and not “your team”

#10 one thing you need to understand and learn to survive in this world dam, respect is earned not a given. The moronic supporters of the bolivarin commies on this site have done everything in the proper manner to garner as mush dis-respect as they possibly can. Not to mention so have their political leaders. You are not going t get respect just because you want it.......do something to earn it.

Why do Brazil continue to bother with The Dark Country? Does Dilma fancy TMBOA or is it blackmail on the part of La Camping It Up?

An easier solution for Brazil would be to forget the thing and start again with a stable country.

The flaw in that of course is where the hell is there a stable country in SA?

As I predicted last year,at the moment there's basically no cars being m manufactured in Argentina with all the lines shut down.
    Bahahahaha
Mark my words if/when hyperinflation starts all of the car mfgs will pull out for good.
Rgs should be very very very very worried that the peso is slowly getting the air let out of it. This is the time of year they shouldn't be depreciating it AND they shouldn't have to be supporting it.
    Very very bad omens

OK I believe you but you seem to be 100% in Argentina's camp.
You accept blindly their assertion that the sovereignty of the Falklands belongs to them.
Yes it would be nice if people could argue rationally but the subject is too emotive for that to happen.

CFK is insisting the 100%+ tax on cars had no effect on the sales.
    Idiocracy
Generation after generation all the smart and industrious people have fled Argentina so every generation gets dumber and lazier.
