Briton,
Sep 12th, 2014 - 12:03 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Insulza is a respected and remarkably well educated socialist who has represented Chile with distinction, despite his blind devotion to the left. Forgive his selective ignorance.
Thanks.
Sep 12th, 2014 - 06:38 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I think Briton meant 7/7? The London bombings?
Sep 13th, 2014 - 03:15 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I also get the impression that the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza mentioned the above two events in tandem is because
a) both Chile and the USA are members of OAS (UK is not)
b) both events occured on a Sept. 11 (albeit many years apart)
I don't think he meant any disrespect to the UK, he didn't mention Madrid either...
I unless I have totally misunderstood?
