    Wonderful prose.

    Moving back to actual topic, the good news today here from O Globo is that Mr. Bah, the Guinean refugee, does not have Ebola.

    Our Health specialists and officials stated that the tests were proved. negative. Considering the care and precautions taken by our Health Department, and PF services ( care, isolation, flights, quarantine, testing and treatment ) once the man self-admitted himself to the hospital, they deserve special recognition and congratulations.

    I hope they keep up the vigilance, as this clearly won't be the last incident. We've screened passengers arriving World-wide at the airport before for Avian flu, and stronger measures need to be reintroduced and maintained until this danger is behind us or eliminated.

    Just as a matter of interest:-

    Our dear enemy Tobi ( TTT, whatever ) said on a different thread that this Ebola thingy was in no way a global issue and had absolutely no way of making it to argentina and could therefore be discounted as a waste of their time.

    Well Tobi, Boy weren't you ever proved wrong! Here it is, in Brazil already. The next thing you know it will be walking the streets of BA, just like that other “non global issue” you know, whatsit called??? oh yeah, ISIS.

    @5 totdy

    Both TTT and CD2 have claimed at various times that they are protected by the 'ocean' or somesuch nonsense. Not a clue about the interconnected global reality that most modern countries enjoy, and also have to contend with.
    Their reality must be very enclosed, yet I am sure they will welcome any help from 'the west/anglos' when they are knee deep in the poop!

    haha, funny.
    back on topic.
    What will Argentina do if it gets seriously hit by Ebola?
    Go to the UN? or the ICJ, claiming 'unfairness' , or ask for help from those nasty 'anglos' ?
    hmmmm....
