ok, as usual he has gone too far with his diatribe, however, I believe, for once, he may be correct on this.
I have spent many years in Lat Am. and will continue to do so.
TV is crap here. Too many monopolies, or State-run propganda.
It is true that the '[media giants]' can be just as bad as the State proganda channels.
The only non-biased channel in Lat Am is the BBC.

“No Money Pepe” is a schizophrenic in so many things, monopolies being one case in point.

It’s OK to have government monopolies that charge WTF they want irrespective of whether the citizens can afford it or the result on inflation, but talk about private monopolies and the entire government go ape shit. Just like the argies in fact.

No, anybody criticising Pepe’s (piss poor) performance will be slapped down before they know it.

I was enrolled on a government sponsored blog to say what I really thought about things in Uruguay: apparently. WHAT soon became apparent was the censorship of posts (I cannot think it was only mine) followed by being removed from the register for overly criticising “the government”.

Pepe reminds me of the big pig, Napoleon, in “Animal Farm” who spoke against humans thus:- “Four legs good, two legs bad”, until he learnt to talk human speech and deal with the buyers of the farm’s products (to his unique advantage) and the phrase was quickly altered to “Four legs good, two legs better” and bleated by the sheep. It is SO Uruguayo politics, but you get what you vote for.

But he will no longer be president soon and hopefully will have croaked before the next five years are up.
