    eye say,
one should always be very weary of the reds carrying soiled gifs,

It's lovely to see the children in charge of SA playing with fire!

Regrettably, the fire will come to consume what they love and it will all be 'but how did this happen, this is not FAIR!'

As if that will bother the Chin one iota.

Since 2005, China has provided more than $119 billion in loan commitments to Latin American countries and firms. Chinese loans to Latin America in 2010 were more than those of the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, and U.S. Export-Import Bank combined. This database provides up-to-date information on Chinese lending in Latin America by country, lender, sector and year.

China is investing in their own future. The only problem is what they are investing in. If you compare two investors....one an experienced investor and the other ...not so much and you look at their portfolios. The experienced investor would have blue chips, large caps and maybe some mid....bonds, and a small portion for risk. The other..........penny stocks. That what China has done ...invested in penny stocks.......and penny stocks are sold through boiler rooms. The only difference though is that China WILL come collecting in kind when SA defaults on them.

I think China knows it isn't getting its money back, the best bankers never let their borrowers to clear their debt. China also has a history of losing money in order to create an environment where it has a monopoly.

You make a very good point there. I doubt there are many Argentines that are as astute as you are.
    Wise words indeed.

    13 Nostrils Tobi,

Don't you think it will be much better for you, personally?!

The Chinese won't discriminate between Argentines and Jewish Argentines.

Can you say the same today??

    Good luck with that.

Nostrils who, like a good PERONIST, wanted Argentina “left alone” by foreign powers, within 25 years, will have the Chinese control their destiny - for the sake of China of course!!

One of the new Chinese trains derailed in Santa Fe yesterday after only 5 days in service .
What is the point in shiny new trains if you do not renew the railway tracks after 70 years of hard use and little maintenance ?
