Striking truck drivers resumed some roadblocks in Brazil on Monday even as the government cracked down on protesters and promised to implement a law to lower toll costs and give other benefits to the transport sector. Read full article

    Sorry? Didn't a certain someone say last week that the strike was over? Seems it's not. Don't these 'reports' only refer to the federal highways? What about other roads? And I see 'protesters' are going to set up new blocks. Doesn't take long for three or four trucks to block a road. How long will it be before the protesters get the smart idea of blocking a road for three or four hours until there's a sizeable tailback and then moving to a different point. That would have the federal highway police chasing their tails!
