May 05th, 2015 - 07:17 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The problem started when Texaco left the country way back in the late 80's and PetroEcuador took over the field. Chevron had absolutely nothing to do with the issue. The Ecuadorian government went after them through attrition. Numerous oil companies have leased said area over the years but because TEXACO is no longer and Chevron is sympathetic to environmental issues the became the flavour of choice.... Who knows evenObama might get involved in the legal process as he did against BP.
Oh hang on isn't Chevron an American Company? - forget it.
Ahh! Korea, the wanabbee 'Leader of SA'! Confidant of the Argie Pope and son of a Drug Lord who the Americas killed in jail according to him. Drug dealing 'is not illegal' is another of this idiots mantras.
