A tiny country with limited resources with help from the military with a miniscule number of aircraft per size of landmass, successfully coordinate a rescue of those in peril on the sea, and do their best to look after them and ensure the ship's owners can efficiently arrange the passengers to get to their next destinations.

This raises the Falkland Islander's reputation as a people that get something done, instead of blaming someone else for the problem they are helping to resolve.

    What a GREAT story!!

Everyone involved can feel rightly proud of a job very well done!!

The Cruise lines can rest assured that any visiting liner to the Falklands is in safe hands, even after they depart!

Again, nicely handled by the Islanders. Good job folks!

The key is taking people into your home sand truly looking after them. There is still a lot of stress and emotion to come out.

This incident demonstrates, yet again, the the Falklanmd Islands have a search and rescue service that actually works.

This incident demonstrates, yet again, that the Falkland Islands are about 400 times better than argieland at everything.
