The fact is that the opposition is just a bunch of pathetic wimps. If they had balls, they would have blocked Dilma's populist policies a long time ago, in the same manner that the PT acted when they were the opposition (until end of 2002). To make things worse, the opposition insists on washing its dirty laundry in public, and people just get fed up with all their internal squabbling and their incapacity to unite for the good of Brazil.

Wondering why the famous politicians like F. Collor, P. Maluf, etc. are so quiet?

As they have nothing constructive to say, it's just as well that they shut up.

The [“ill”]-famous politicians are waiting and watching for their turn - the “right time” - to pounce for returning back to power; as their pursuit of corruption must obviously be highly addictive.

If at all any of them has anything “good” to say about themselves; it would be nothing compared to the harms caused by them.

To 90% of the politicians this is all just a game, and they are gambling with an aim to be on the winning side after all the turmoil has subsided. Obviously, the main PT crooks have to keep on defending the incompetent cow no matter what, because that is THEIR only chance of survival.

I see that latest allegation against Cunha, the seventh, has finally made it to Fohla's English site at: http://www1.folha.uol.com.br/internacional/en/brazil/2016/04/1766048-cunha-received-r-52-million-in-bribes-says-former-vp-of-caixa.shtml.

What ever happens the Lava Jato investigations must continue. However, Temer has already indicated that he may shut it down.

You never get it right, do you ?

The Lava-Jato investigations will continue....it's too big to shut down ; but to the contrary of what you state, Temer never considered shutting it down.....a clear indication of that is the fact that he decided against appointing Claudio de Oliveira as his Minister of Justice (if the cow is impeached), who was critical of the manner in which Judge Moro is conducting the investigation.
