The Poisedon is a Boeing 737 800, so hopefully (I haven't checked the stats) it will be able to operate. Presumably the Atlas might be able to operate there too.

The P-8 is not a “spyplane” but a maritime reconnaissance aircraft whose primary function is anti submarine duties and monitoring shipping.. I could not find any information on take-off or landing distances so it's doubtful if it could be used there. Anyway, there is no infrastructure to service a military aircraft.
    Our present “spyplanes” ARE
Sentinel R.1. Not designed for sea scanning activities.
The real spyplane is the RC-135 Rivet Joint, a version of the Boeing 707.
Far too large to get in and out of St.Helena. It could operate from Ascension island but it's main job is intelligence gathering of radio and radar signals, including mobile phones and satellite communications.
