“Temer also met with Chinese entrepreneurs in Shanghai on Friday morning and assured those who have signed deals that they will be “well protected” by its law.”

“Until we change our mind or I am shot dead another Bat-shit mad woman takes over” he perhaps should have added.

“The Brazilian Senate voted Wednesday to remove Rousseff from the presidency for practicing pedaladas fiscais - the practice of using public money to fund state or federal social programs without the approval of Congress. According to various reports, independent auditors did not find Rousseff involved in breaking fiscal responsibility laws.
Two days after Rousseff’s impeachment, the new vice president, Rodrigo Maia, signed legislation allowing for the amendment of an existing law addressing new rules for credit without Congress' approval.” guess she's making sure there's toilet-paper in the washroom to cover their derrières.

It must be comforting to Temer to know that there is at least on place in the world that his appearance does not provoke boos. Never mind that the place is a country under communist dictatorship.

It must be very galling to know that there is not one country on Earth that doesn't think that your posts are intelligent or prescient to the topic.

You must be so depressed, have you thought of suicide, it can be painless according to the song?

Perhaps you think Brazil should be returned to Argentina in the next 20 years.

China would just LOVE to buy the industries owned by the state & federal govts. at the lowest possible prices and Brazil will be EAGER to sell them - fully or partially!

    I actually agree with Hepatia.

Brazil's pretense of being some great up and coming economic power and regional superpower are only sustained by the duplicitous Chinese friendship that yearns for countries, any countries, to fawn to their worldview that China is a superpower.

Neither country is actually what the other pretends it is.

China vs Brazil: The difference is partially superficial:
CHINA: Being communist, nobody knows what's REALLY going on over there - including their clandestine relationship with N. Korea.
    BRAZIL: Being a corrupt democracy;
    - rallies are “organized”,
    - the real public opinion is diluted,
    - the news is “bought” and
    - the population hears what the politicians want them to know; MOST of the time.

I'm informed by an Australian colleague that the populace has just now discovered that the administration in Australia is owned by the PRC. This corruption has been occurring for years.

And there is the case of the sale of a US base by you British to the PRC.
