As per the agreement between Argentina and Great Britain, the task is carried out by a mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Just as you expect your golf club to pay for the replacement of any and all balls you lost in the rough or water hazard.

Incidentally the reason they were unidentified in 1982 is pretty well 100% down to Argentina- learn some facts.

Islander1, I doubt she even read the article before posting her usual shtick. It's quite possible she uses a script to post rather than doing it herself, I wouldn't waste energy getting angry with her.

Hepatia's not a troll because she lives in the US, she's a troll because she robo-posts and most of her real comments are trying to stir up shit. Similarly most of Toby's comments are just trying to provoke, and he doesn't pretend otherwise.
I know some people here like to accuse everyone who disagrees with them of being a troll, but that wasn't what I meant.

I have no idea who funds or controls it, if anyone (it would not be expensive to run), and it certainly seems to be based in Uruguay and run by a Uruguayan. But it's obvious what audience it caters to and there is only one English speaking territory in the South Atlantic.

You are quite correct about her tactics and how she qualifies as a troll.
She denied that she/he/it was an Argentine troll.
Hepatia used to swear up and down that she was a US citizen and lived in US, and used her perspective as an 'American' to deride the British and Anglos, etc.
However, most of us here would agree she does NOT live in the US.
The ironic thing is now, she/he/it is denying that it lives in the US.
