Ex Argentine vice-president under Cristina Fernandez, Amado Boudou, has joined other former ministers, deputy ministers, top officials and Kirchner family associates who are in jail awaiting for trial on multiple corruption charges. The joke in Buenos Aires is that any moment they will be holding a cabinet meeting once ex president Cristina Fernandez joins them. Read full article

Wonder what the two chantapufis of the Torturer's Tango Duo think of that? ;)
Nov 06th, 2017 - 08:25 am - Link - Report abuse +1And this headline is news how? Surely MP readers are already aware Boudou exists and have already formed an opinion of him. And the greed is not proven yet, or did they complete the trial overnight like in the good old days?
Nov 06th, 2017 - 09:33 am - Link - Report abuse -4the fact that many of these trials have started to move only recently, most of them under the same magistrates gives an idea of the atmosphere under Cristina Fernandez rule or even, why not, contamination of the judicial system
What a terrible atmosphere that was, where a minority of right-wing activist judges were not enabled to start a purge on flimsy or no evidence. And that why not is pretty damn weak, no?
as one of the ex president's favorites...he was never a member of the president's inner group
Which was it, then?
He also has pending legal disputes with other former girlfriends and in December was scheduled to travel to Mexico to be next to his current pregnant girlfriend, a Mexican politician
He's 55 and an ex-VP, she's a politician too, surely they're partners, ”girlfriend(s) is infantilising and derogatory, no? A sensationalist, tabloid use of language like the whole Cristina's favourite” thing (I remember people on here even calling him her toyboy)
Nice picture though, looks like he's bowing to Queen Cristina ;)
No he is looking at her nipples that are showing through her dress.I had a good look too.

* (Mr. Boudou) has a weakness for end of the line cars and woman company *...
I suppose that MercoPress wanted to say Top of the Line Cars...
Anyhow..., do you know what Mr. Boudous' End of the Line Car is...?
A communist postbox red 1992 Honda CRX Del Sol 16v..., that's what it is...!

A £2,200 quid red japanese rice cooker...!
The man should have been arrested much earlier by the GTIWBTIC police...
(GTIWBTIC = Good Taste In Women BadTaste In Cars)
Three counts of illicit enrichment this time. For prosecuting Boudou it's a target-rich environment.
Nov 06th, 2017 - 12:47 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Interesting line about Boudou's inspired recuperation for the state of the pension funds, previously privatized by damn Menem. Taking that juicy business from private operators to put where it belongs (Macri may privatize them again now) is something the real power never forgave Boudou for.

Boudou's criminal behaviour even in purchasing second-rate vehicles and identity card fraud amply reminds us that his considerable delinquency was not reserved for only larger matters, but characterised his every maneuver.
Nov 06th, 2017 - 05:19 pm - Link - Report abuse +1Ridiculous Reekie and the Kirchnerist cheerleaders would have us believe that the present government is somehow to blame for Boudou being prosecuted. Actually the case of enriquecimiento ilícito started back in 2012, during the CFK government. A number of other cases against Boudou also date back several years.
I'm sure every prosecutor in this country is well aware that Nisman's assassins are still at large.
If I were going to write a book about corruption, Boudou would have one of the first chapters, just after the dead Kirschner and just before the three live ones still thinking they can act with impunity, play the victim card, and get away with the booty. Now that a few of the judges are not afraid of being suicided in the middle of the night, things are finally moving in the right direction. Macri's biggest challenge is keeping in check the Latin propensity to steal what you can while in office.

Nov 07th, 2017 - 08:09 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Just another one of those Argentine political figures who will have to have their hands removed after death...
The Arabs have a good way of discouraging theft, they cut off the hand that they eat with so that they have to eat with the hand that they wipe their arse with. There would be lots of one handed people in Argentina then.
Nov 07th, 2017 - 11:23 pm - Link - Report abuse +1Except in Argentina they would use the remaining hand to continue to steal, and forego wiping their arses.
