Disclaimer & comment rulesThe Irish Government has stated many times that if the EU/Mercosur agreement allows the import of beef or beef products into Europe then it will veto the agreement. I believe that France has been even more belligerent and has stated that it would veto the import of 'any' agricultural products into Europe from Mercosur.
