    The PT has been thoroughly reviled, disgraced, and discredited in the eyes of the Brazilian public and is recognized for what it is: a cesspool of bribery, kickbacks, graft, self-dealing, and corruption, which was rattling the foundations of Brazilian democracy. Saying that, the Leftist Marxists may unfortunately defeat Bolsonaro.

    @DT:

    REF: Sounds like awful and extremely awful is about right

    The BEST news for the politicians [I'm tempted to use the adjective: “corrupt”]; is that the masses are ignorant of what the politicians are doing to them.

    How else can one justify that the crooks are permitted to be the candidates and in addition to that, the same crooks keep leading in the opinion polls?

    Nobody questions the these facts; besides the following:

    - Nº of political parties - 35 of them - are they really necessary?
    - The expenses, etc. of these parties - should the masses pay?
    - The fat salaries+perquisites+benefits+priveges of the politicians - must the masses pay for the extravaganza?
    - It's the politicians who are bending backward - dying - to be elected but who pays for the campaigning [the lobbies; besides the ignorant masses]?
    - A vast majority of the politicians are proven to be corrupt and just a few of them are behind the 5* bars. But not even ONE of them wants to admit the guilts, has no intentions of returning the illicit gains and will soon be “At Home” well before completing their sentences. For the masses, is this absolutely “NORMAL”!?!
    - The candidate will always promise a Fantastic Future! But if the promises are not kept; can the masses throw the elected politician out of the office?

    These and many - too many - critical anomalies do exist but they don't cross the minds of the ignorant!

    In fact; as far as Brazil is concerned; Ignorance really is a BLISS; [Besides: @Chicureo: “Brazil is the country of the future... and always will be,” Charles de Gaulle]
