But, but, but, this is horrible!

What shall poor Enrique do, if Macri's tough line of austerity ends up improving the Argentine economy to the extent that poverty will be almost extinct?

Ah, but of course, Macri causes EXTINCTION to hit Argentina.

Says DA: “What shall poor Enrique do, if Macri's tough line of austerity ends up improving the Argentine economy to the extent that poverty will be almost extinct?”

Hey, that's easy, don Alberto! If Macri eradicates poverty to reasonable levels (not zero, which was just a snake oil seller promise) I will be the first to cheer and sing the praises of don Mauricio.

But hey, let's not even wait for that much though!

I will cheer for Macri if he just shows he can return Argentina to the economic conditions existing in December 2015.

Boy, that would be a big improvement already!

But, but, but, what were the economic conditions existing in December 2015?

Nobody knows, because the then INDEC told us, that inflación was below 10 per cent, thus demonstrating how much we can trust any declaration of Argentine nacional economy dating before Macri took over.

What we DO know is, that the number of Kirchnerist cronies who only showed up at “work” to collect their salaries on ñoquis day was counted in the hundred thousands, thus artificially upkeeping the economy.

But Reekie keeps saying that the economy is a complete disaster and only getting worse! As I have said before, this isn't true and some economic indicators are improving. The deficit is one of them and it has been trending in a positive direction since 2016.

Zaphod may be misinformed and he expresses wishful thinking.

In the alternative, Zaphod watches TN, reads Clarin and La Nacion and believes the lies conveyed by government-friendly media. MP provides a partial view of the situation.

Or, Zaphod is simply doing his job like many government employees are doing every day, inundating social media with pro-Cambiemos comments and attacks on opponents.

However, the situation in Argentina is now far beyond philosophical discussions, as citizens and entrepreneurs are experiencing it in their own flesh -- every day.

“Zaphod may be misinformed and he expresses wishful thinking.”

Maybe, but I am presenting data rather than opinion.

“In the alternative, Zaphod watches TN, reads Clarin and La Nacion and believes the lies conveyed by government-friendly media. MP provides a partial view of the situation.”

No, simply searching for real data and presenting it. Data will trump misinformed opinion every time.

“Or, Zaphod is simply doing his job like many government employees are doing every day, inundating social media with pro-Cambiemos comments and attacks on opponents.”

No, I have not worked for any government since I was a student.
