Uruguay will leave the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance (TIAR, also known as Rio Pact) due to an “obvious attempt” by the other signatories to use it to threaten Venezuela with the use of force, Uruguayan Foreign Minister Rodolfo Nin Novoa said at a press conference in Montevideo on Tuesday. Sep 25th, 2019 - 06:37 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Sad that you have such a distorted view of Latin American view of the misery endured by the Venezulean diaspora. Their stories are heartbreaking. No one is proposing an invasion, but most Latin countries agree that there must be change.
Shicureo..., me dear hermanito Shileno...
Sep 25th, 2019 - 08:59 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Niiiicce to see that you still are vivito y culiando.... Really...:-)
Interesting though that the heartbreaking stories of the Venezuelan Diaspora affect you sooooo much...
Taking i consideration that the heartbreaking stories of the Shilean downriver rotos patasucia desposeidos sin una gota de agua porqué los momios ricachones aguas arriba se la compraron toda al deleznable e inhumano sistema neoliberal de inmovilidad de clases imperante en mi Shile querido..., doesn't seem to affect you at all... :-(
And..., by the way..., mi mimado milico malentretenido..., look me staight in the eyes and tell me that YOU don't deeply wish and dream with a full blown invasion of Venezuela..., preferably with the heroic participation of the Shilean Navy...
Can you...?
”Uruguay will withdraw from the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance because there is an obvious attempt, there is a clear intention (by the other signatories) to violate international law“. Nin Novoa argued.

Sep 26th, 2019 - 04:47 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The papers have been speculating about military action for months. Last month Trump said We have many options for Venezuela including a possible military option if necessary. He also said he was considering a blockade of Venezuela - that's an act of war, no?
I'd like to see Venezuela get better, but do you want to see Venezuela changed in the style of Iraq or Libya? The US sanctions are already making things even worse for ordinary people.
I trust you have as much sympathy for the people who have fled crime and poverty in Honduras, Guatemala etc...?
I Think my Shilean hermanìto has been duly isolated for his own good by Mme. Shewhomustbeobeyed...
