The Maersk manager is actually a very pleasant individual, but unfortunately brainwashed by the media about Bolsonaro and Trump. Fortunately he's well compensated, but it will still be a painful wager to settle.
I've made a few more friendly side bets with friends, but the entire case of Don Melchor is the largest.
Regarding Russian technology — many times what they create, actually does the job with an acceptable result, but it will never be fully trusted.
I concede that they do manufacture some amazing technology — although I should also mention that the very first automobile purchase I made was a Lada!

The first imports of Lada cars / jeeps arrived in Brazil in 1991 I think, when Collor opened up imports to foreign cars. It was relatively cheap, and sold pretty well, but that didn't last very long....but, today, any ancient Ladas, in good condition (rare) command a fairly good price, especially the jeeps.

I had the sedan, which was a copy of the superior Fiat. The Jeep was from a different company Niva which was marketed under the Lada name. The improved jeep is still being marketed and even sold in Chile.
Ladas were tough as hell and easy to repair, but when I changed to Japanese vehicles, it was heaven. (Today, as you know — we've assumed the leases of BMWs that were repossessed by the distributer.)
Thanks for your wine proposal, but I'm convinced Trump will win — although I read the Democrats are planning a voter mail snafu to confuse the results. If it's a close race, the results may take days.
Meanwhile, we're busy preparing for the 18th celebration and fully expect the health authorities to try and stop us. We've made several psyop preparations, including health guideline brochures, and even a health safety agenda as officially we are having a meeting for essential employees.
I'll probably be penalized and scolded, but we obtained a permit and had it notorized as well as pre-notifing the local Carabineros of the meeting.
Parties of more than 5 adults are banned, but I'm optimistic we'll succeed

There are Niva/Lada jeep clubs here, and the vehicle is revered by their members.....like any vintage vehicles, they'll always have a place in people's hearts.
