Disclaimer & comment rulesI don't think anything he said was any more harmful, belligerent or threatening than anything that comes out of Argentina. I don't really see what they are worried about. I wish, instead of “consolidating” their “sovereignty claim”, they would just take it to the ICJ.

It is by the very fact History was written that Argentina has not been able to consolidate any if its claims.
When Argentina first raised their flag, they were doing so knowing that they were attempting to colonise something that did not belong to them.
That is where the myth started and modern Argentina today has had it's people do indoctrinated that they do not now know the truth anymore.
Invading the islands in 1982 was a part of reinforcing that indoctrination of a people.
It went badly wrong for them and today Argentina has been split in their thinking. They are now seeking the truth.
They have had enough of rogue governments suppressing them and it is but a matter of time before the impoverished people of Argentina will rise up and take back what has been stolen from them.
Argentina is in a political mess and it simply cannot continue on that path of self destruction. International debts, poverty and indoctrination has virtually destroyed a once great country.
How much longer can it continue.

Argentina needs to start respecting the wishes of not only the people of the Falkland Islands but also that of their own indoctrinated people.

Today will be quite an amazing day — beginning with our favorite avocado California style omelets, buttered fresh sourdough bread with assorted plumcots and delicious nectarines.

The ingredients include: medium sized shrimp, thinly sliced locos (abalone), yesterday’s chilled and sliced lenguado (sole), cubed avocado, sliced sweet red onion, red mild peppers, fresh baby Gem lettuce, a sliced orange, juice of lemon, dressed with our favorite vinaigret and fresh sourdough bread. We’ll also have a large bowl of fresh nectarines, plumcots and apricots.
For the adults — we’ll also serving a chilled Sauvignon blanc from Casablanca. (Vino Casas del Bosque Reserva)

I remind everyone that during this last century — your country was arguably the most advanced in South America and only rivaled perhaps by Venezuela. Exactly a century ago Argentina was one of the 7 richest countries in the world!
Today — Chile has become the most successful nation on our continent with the lowest rate of poverty and fastest economic growth — solidified with an independent central bank.
Obviously a storm of changes will occur during this new administration — but I still remain optimistic!

The gardeners have done wonders with the vegetable garden and the fruit trees are laden with fruit.
The old baker lady is still active and we enjoyed her traditional chopped beef empanadas — that were accompanied with fresh salad and cold Kunstmann beer.
While I took time to inspect the table grapes and avocado orchards — Madame began the housekeeping tasks in order.
The Summer weather here is perfect with a 28°c (82f) high and a 11°c (52f) low.
This evening’s fare is baby romaine lettuce, avocado, radicchio, French radishes, cherry tomatoes, scallions, honey roasted pistachios with a balsamic vinaigrette and garlic marraqueta croutons.
I’m very pleased with all the successful tree graphs — allowing multiple varieties on a single tree. Besides the nectarine, plum and apricots — we’ve had great success with plumcot and pluots. (Plumcots is the result of crossing a plum and apricot tree. Pluots are 70 percent plum and 30 percent apricot.)

Add the corn to the barbecue in the last 15 minutes of cooking and turn occasionally until charred 2. Remove the lamb, cover with foil and rest for 10 minutes. Slice the corn from the cob 3.
