    Central Bank report corrects Argentina's inflation projections upwards

    For the next twelve months, the REM anticipates inflation will reach 146.5%.

    According to the Argentine Central Bank's (BCRA) Market Expectations Survey (Relevamiento de Expectativas de Mercado - REM) report published Friday, the panel of economists issuing that document has made an upward correction to their inflation forecasts for 2023, placing it at 126.4%, or 16.4 percentage points above April's projections, while last month's Consumer Price Index (CPI) is believed to be of 7.5%. The National Institute of Statistics and Census (Indec) will release the official data on May 12.

    Globally, searches for international flights to the U.K. increased by 81% within 24 hours of the date of the King's Coronation being confirmed.

    When in October 2022, Buckingham Palace announced that the Coronation of King Charles III, would take place on Saturday, 6 May 2023, international flight bookings to the UK increased 149% for trips during those regal events.

    Oil and gas exploration company Argos Resources is set to sell its sole asset, the PL 001 production license in the North Falkland Islands, which is estimated to hold around 3 billion barrels of oil, to JHI. After completing the transaction, Argos plans to seek to delist from AIM and wind up the company.
