The report is considered very serious since in the Patagonian province of Chubut there have been several deaths and some 85 residents of a town are in quarantine to stop the spread of the virus contagion.

    Argentina's president Mauricio Macri on Monday said the joint Argentina-China hydropower megaproject is “highly important” and “emblematic” in terms of renewable energy and economic development. Macri made the remarks during his first official visit to the construction site of the project, where two hydroelectric dams, Condor Cliff and La Barrancosa, are being erected along the Santa Cruz River in Patagonia to boost national energy output.

The case is Aurelius Capital Master Ltd. v. the Republic of Argentina, 19-cv-351, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York (Manhattan).

    Argentina undertakes third scientific evaluation survey of Southern king crab

    Argentina's National Institute for Fisheries Research and Development, INIDEP, has started a scientific survey aimed at assessing the Southern king crab (Lithodes santolla) in its central Patagonian distribution area. This is the third consecutive year in which the survey is carried out and includes the San Jorge Gulf and platform waters, between 43° 30 'and 48° South latitude, in jurisdictions of the Nation, and Chubut and Santa Cruz provinces.
