  One of the mightiest of WW2 battleships discovered 70 years after it was sunk

  

  American billionaire Paul Allen has announced the discovery of the famous World War Two Japanese battleship, the Musashi, more than 70 years after it was sunk by US forces. Mr, Allen said the vessel was found by his private exploration team. It was at a depth of more than 1km on the floor of the Sibuyan Sea off the Philippines.

  South Atlantic Air-bridge to the Falklands restricted to certain nationalities

  UK leaves interest rates unchanged at record low 0.5% for six years

  

  UK interest rates have been kept unchanged again by the Bank of England, meaning they have now been at their record low of 0.5% for six years. Rates were first cut to 0.5% in March 2009 as the Bank sought to lift economic growth amid the credit crunch.

  WHO calls on countries to reduce sugars intake among adults and children

  

  A new WHO guideline recommends adults and children reduce their daily intake of free sugars to less than 10% of their total energy intake. A further reduction to below 5% or roughly 25 grams (6 teaspoons) per day would provide additional health benefits.
