Peña highlighted “the importance of global integration to strengthen trade and resilience in the face of uncertainty,” the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIC) said in a statement.

    US career diplomat Richard Grenell landed Friday in Caracas presumably to participate in the return of a group of Venezuelan deportees in exchange for US nationals detained by the Bolivarian regime in the South American country. However, neither government has made any agenda public so the full scope of Washington's former Ambassador to Germany is mostly media speculation.

    The United States Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged following the two day meeting with Fed chair Jerome Powell emphasizing at the press conference that “the bank is in no hurry to adjust its policy stance, since the US economy remains strong”.
