  Lima ready for key APEC Leaders' Week

  

  The city of Lima, the capital of Peru, will be turned upside down this week, during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit starting Monday, which will be attended by Presidents Joseph Biden of the United States and Xi Jinping from China among other dignitaries from 21 countries, particularly between Nov. 14 and 16, which have been declared as non-working days.

  Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski brought the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit to a close in Lima on Sunday with a message against protectionism and awareness that the meeting was held “at a key moment in the world's economic history.”

  Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau will pay official visits to Cuba and Argentina from November 15 to 18, and will travel to Peru from November 19 to 20 to participate in the 2016 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ meeting.
