  Argentina announces identification of the 107 unknown combatant, buried in the Falklands

  

  An Argentine 18 year old conscript from the northern province of Chaco has become the 107 combatant, with remains resting at the Argentine military cemetery at Darwin, in the Falklands, to be fully identified. The announcement was made by Argentina's Human Rights Secretary, Claudio Avruj who visited the family of Ruben Horacio Gomez, in the city of Ressistencia.

  Argentina’s central bank said it bought US$ 50 million at an average price of 37.597 Pesos per dollar in the foreign exchange market on Tuesday, part of its effort to maintain the currency in a trading band agreed with the International Monetary Fund.

  Vessels leaving Vigo for the Falklands' Loligo season; Argentina reports good catches of Illex

  

  While the Spanish fleet of fishing vessels, many of them partners of Falkland Islands companies have started leaving Vigo for the South Atlantic to begin the Loligo season on 24 February, Argentine licensed jiggers operating south of parallel 44 have been catching some 25 tons per day per vessel of Illex, according to the first reports from Pescare.com.ar.
