  Falkland Islands representative honors Fallen Heroes on Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph

  

  Richard Hyslop, the Falkland Islands Government Representative to the UK & Europe, marked Remembrance Sunday by laying a wreath at the Cenotaph in London, paying tribute on behalf of the Falkland Islands Government and people. He joined the UK Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition, and other representatives from the UK Overseas Territories in honoring those who lost their lives in service to the Allied Forces during the World Wars and the Falklands War.

  Falklands Government extends Rockhopper's Petroleum Production Licenses to December 2026

  

  Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the oil and gas company with key interests in the North Falkland Basin announced that, following discussions with the Falkland Islands Government, FIG has agreed to extend all of the Company’s North and South Falkland Basin Petroleum Production Licenses meaning that the licenses will now run until the 31 December 2026.

  The elected Falkland Islands Legislative Assembly extends its congratulations to the Labour Party on their victory in the UK General Election. We also extend our congratulations to The Right Honorable Sir Keir Starmer on his election as an MP, and subsequent appointment this as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom by His Majesty The King Charles III.
