Mario Blejer a world renowned economist and advisor to the Bank of England, was mentioned as the possible next Argentine ambassador in London, if incumbent presidential candidate Daniel Scioli, as public opinion polls indicate, is confirmed in Sunday's election as the man who will take over from Cristina Fernández next December.
Former Argentine central bank president, IMF economist and Bank of England consultant Mario Bléjer said that with clear long term policies Argentina could rapidly become the “Saudi Arabia of food” because food demand at world level will grow 20% in the next decade.
The former head of the Argentine Central Bank, Mario Blejer assured on Wednesday that in the exchange market “tension has been created which will only start to dissolve as and when we minimize the analysis of the subject.”
