Chile quarantines 1.300 people aboard two cruise vessels

Chile has quarantined more than 1,300 people aboard two cruise ships after an elderly Briton aboard one of them tested positive for the coronavirus, the health ministry announced on Saturday. Both ships are cruising the Chilean fjords in Patagonia.

Chilean president Sebastián Piñera announced nine basic measures which will be enforced as of Monday referred to containing the spread of coronavirus. Trump's chief of staff self quarantined for contacting a person coronavirus positive

Incoming White House chief of staff Mark Meadows has self-quarantined after he may have come into contact with a person who tested positive for the coronavirus, his spokesperson said. Meadows is not exhibiting symptoms and a precautionary test came back negative, the spokesperson said on Twitter.
