  Falklands gains cross-party support during first Parliamentary drop-in sessions

  

  The Falkland Islands Government Office (FIGO) held its first-ever drop-in sessions at the UK Parliament last week, hosting over 30 MPs and Peers across two days. The sessions, held on October 22nd and 23rd, aimed to familiarize cross-party Parliamentarians, particularly newly elected members, with key issues concerning the Falkland Islands, including unregulated fishing, the region's strategic importance, and Islanders' right to self-determination.

  Falkland Islands Represented at UK State Opening of Parliament

  

  Richard Hyslop, the Falkland Islands Government Representative to the UK and Europe, attended the State Opening of Parliament on Wednesday.   Falklands congratulations of Scottish parliament on its 25th anniversary

Links between the Falkland Islands and Scotland are very close and significant, with Scottish MPs visiting the Islands and upholding the Islands rights to decide on its future and natural resources.

  Falklands Representative honors Margaret Thatcher on annual memorial day

  Falklands pupil triumphs in annual Christmas card competition

  

  Henrietta Barlow, a Year 3 student at the Infant Junior School and Camp Education in the Falkland Islands, has been crowned the winner of the Falkland Islands Government Office's (FIGO) Annual Christmas Card Competition. Mr. Richard Hyslop, the Falkland Islands Government Representative to the UK & Europe, presented Henrietta with a special prize and certificate in recognition of her festive design.
