  Argentina rejects UK and Israeli oil plans for Malvinas

  

  Argentina's Foreign Ministry on Thursday issued a vigorous rejection of a reported “Final Investment Decision” by British company Rockhopper Exploration Plc and Israel's Navitas Petroleum Development and Production Limited regarding the “Sea Lion” oil field in the North Falkland Basin.

  Falklands Government extends Rockhopper's Petroleum Production Licenses to December 2026

  

  Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the oil and gas company with key interests in the North Falkland Basin announced that, following discussions with the Falkland Islands Government, FIG has agreed to extend all of the Company’s North and South Falkland Basin Petroleum Production Licenses meaning that the licenses will now run until the 31 December 2026.

  Rockhopper Exploration PLC on Tuesday said it has signed a milestone farm-in deal at the Sea Lion project in the Falkland Islands. Rockhopper shares were 30% higher in early trade in London at a price of 19.44 pence each. Premier was 13% higher at 114.62p.
