    Falklands will enjoy England's live matches from the World Cup

    Falklands' viewers won’t have to wait for the matches on the delayed BBC and ITV channels.

    The Falkland Islands will be able to enjoy the Football World Cup 2018 live matches of the England side. The British Forces Broadcasting Service operating from MPA has informed that Falklands' viewers will receive the best football experience possible from Russia by showing all the England matches live on the Sky News Channel.

    Video Assistant Referee will be used at the World Cup in Russia

    VAR was first used at the Club World Cup in December 2016, and trialed in the 2017 Confederations Cup.

    Video assistant referees will be used at the World Cup for the first time after Fifa formally approved the technology for this year's tournament. VAR has been trialed in some domestic English cup games this season, and has been used in Germany and Italy.
