  UK Ministry of Defense criticizes BBC Panorama program for putting “armed forces personnel at risk”

  

  British Armed Forces personnel have been put “at risk both in the field and in reputation” by BBC Panorama's episode about SAS operations in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defense (MOD) has said.   Voting will get underway this Wednesday for candidates striving to become the leader of the Conservative party and the next British prime minister. So far eleven MPs have put themselves forward to replace Boris Johnson which comes after the party increased the number of nominations needed to make it to the first-round ballot, in order to speed up the election process.

  Two of the most senior members of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson Cabinet resigned on Tuesday, which could be marking the beginning of the end of Johnson's leadership. Health Secretary Sajid Javid was the first to go, saying he could “no longer continue in good conscience” at his post. He was immediately followed by Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak' who announced he was stepping down, because “the public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously.”
