Argentines expect in 2022, another record breaking inflation year, 51,3%

Argentines expect that inflation in the next twelve months will reach on average 51,3%, according to the latest survey from the Torcuato Di Tella University. This is 0.9 percentage points higher than in the previous month of November when it was measured at 50,4%.

Ushuaia announces the construction of a five star sustainable Hilton hotel

Ushuaia, the capital of Tierra del Fuego province will have a sustainable five-star hotel linked to the Hilton Hotels and Resorts consortium, which is expected to be inaugurated in December 2023. The announcement was done by Tierra del Fuego governor Gustavo Melella, his deputy Monica Urquiza and several members of the cabinet and local authorities.

Expedition cruise Ultramarine anchored in Ushuaia bay finally cleared to sail

The expedition cruise Ultramarine from Quark Expeditions, anchored in Ushuaia Bay, extreme south of Argentina, finally was liberated after Covid-19 testing among the crew proved negative. The crew was never allowed ashore and had to wait until the Covid-19 outbreak was considered under control.

Falklands/Malvinas: City of Ushuaia has its logo for the 40th anniversary of the war

The City of Ushuaia has a logo and crest that will represent all activities organized by the city during next year when the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Malvina's war feat. The institutional image of the anniversary was circulated among some 67,000 residents and neighbours of the city, and finally, some 2,600 voted on the three images that were presented as options.
