Spain-China Expand Alliance

Spanish Telefónica and Chinese operator Unicom agreed on Sunday to expand their alliance, both investing a further U$ 500 million in the other. Under the agreement, China Unicom could get a seat on Telefónica.

Mountaineers Rescued on Aconcagua

An Argentine and a Spaniard were reunited with their families in Mendoza city today after having been rescued from the Aconcagua mountain in Mendoza province, on the border with Chile overnight.
