Uruguay could follow through and persuade the Latam and Caribbean cluster that not only does “Uruguay remain committed to peace, and to the peaceful solution of conflicts and human rights” but it also endorses the principal of self-deterimination for all peoples - a foundation stone of the UN. Now that would be a shaker.

Being on the Security Council won't protect them from Argentine aggression. So they might as well grow up and admit that the Argentine anti-Falkland campaign is nothing more than an aspect of Hispanophone chauvinism and hatred of the more successful Anglosphere.

This character, who I will not mention his name, is nothing but an Argentine Rent Boy; beloved of Gollum, and never seemingly makes a decision regarding Uruguay without discussing it with him or in his absence the other snake in our country, Dovena, the ‘Ambassador’ for TDC.

At least the Rent Boy will not be involved with the SC as he will be isolated in another of the dead beat organisations that SA keep coming up with, all to no effect at all.

What a pathetic bunch of politicians infest the countries of SA. Piss-up and brewery jumps to mind.

    Time will tell I think,
if he mentions the British Falkland's on CFKs behalf,
then you know he has been got at,

on the other hand if he behaves himself, who knows ?

It appears, from the way that the article is written, that latam and the carib are engaged in a stitch-up. Who can believe that an ENTIRE region would only vote for URINEguay, a country that, as indicated @1, doesn't support self-determination and several other parts of the UN Charter. Just as an example, let's take Article 74; http://www.un.org/en/documents/charter/chapter11.shtml
Does URINEguay comply with that Article? It doesn't. How can it be allowed a seat in the Security Council? How can it even be allowed membership of the UN? Of course, URINEguay isn't the only one. If the UN complied with its own Charter (Article 6 http://www.un.org/en/documents/charter/chapter11.shtml most, if not all, of latam would be expelled. Of course, that would create 'problems'. But 'problems' can be solved. Let's say that latam was expelled from the UN. There would be a case for making latam into a protectorate. Using the same Article, China and Russia would also be expelled. The honest Security Council members would take control of the expelled states. First move in latam would be re-education. The United States might be able to handle the whole of latam by itself. Meanwhile France and the UK could take control of Russia. First move there would be disarmament. The resources of all UN members would be available or those UN members would also be expelled. The honest SC members would select any associate members. Too many countries are given membership, even of the GA, without justification.
