Falklands announces the Queen's Birthday Parade, April 21st
The Falkland Islands Government has announced that the parade to celebrate the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen will be held at Victory Green in Stanley on Friday 21st April 2017. The parade will form up at Victory Green at 10.20 hours and His Excellency the Governor will arrive at 10.30 hours.

Chilean salmon sold in Buenos Aires revealed high contents of antibiotic residue
A study performed by the Institute of Technology of UADE Foundation found that 66% of the salmon fillets imported from Chile that are marketed in the fish farms of the City of Buenos Aires contain remains of antibiotics “that can affect the health of those who consume it ”.

YPF interested in Shell's refinery and network of gasoline stations
Argentina's state-run oil company YPF is among the bidders for Royal Dutch Shell Plc's refinery and network of gasoline stations in Argentina. Other nationally owned oil companies are interested in the assets but YPF is seen as having an edge because of its strong position in Argentina, the reliable industry sources said.

UK inflation steady in March with rising food and clothing prices
Inflation in the United Kingdom held steady last month, as rising prices for food and clothing were offset by lower air fares. The UK Office for National Statistics, ONS, said inflation as measured by the Consumer Prices Index remained at 2.3%.

Brazil says the RAF Falklands-outbound flight last Saturday was on a search and rescue mission
The RAF Hercules flight which last Saturday landed in the international Brazilian airport of Porto Alegre was flying from the Falkland Islands on a search and rescue mission, as part of a humanitarian effort, according to the Brazilian reply delivered to the Argentine foreign ministry, and reported by political analyst Martin Dinatale.
