    Argentina’s Presidential Spokesman, Manuel Adorni, admitted he would be leaving his position after participating in next month's elections in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, where he will be running for a Legislature seat on behalf of the ruling La Libertad Avanza (LLA). Hence, he will resign his Casa Rosada position on Dec. 9, 2025.

    Economy Minister Luis Caputo said in a press conference at the Casa Rosada that the official exchange rate will now float between 1,000 and 1,400 pesos per US dollar

    Argentina's Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the month of March reached 3.7%, the National Institute of Statistics and Census (Indec) reported Friday. These figures marked a sharp increase from February's 2.4% and January's 2.2%. The rise was driven primarily by higher food prices, particularly meat and vegetables, with public services also playing a role. Internannual inflation stood at 66.9% and 4.7% so far in 2025.

    The City Hall of Tolhuin in the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego -which technically includes the Malvinas (Falkland) Islands and the other British Overseas Territories claimed by the South American country- filed a tax execution lawsuit to dismantle a radar installed by the British company LeoLabs in the area, citing violations of local regulations and national sovereignty.
