  Falklands commemorated Remembrance Day on Sunday 12th November

  

  Sunday 12th November was Remembrance Sunday in the Falklands, and the occasion was commemorated with an annual service recalling the 105th anniversary of the end of the First World War, beginning with a service at Christ Church Cathedral in Stanley.

  Falklands Ride of Respect visits Islands' graves and memorials

  

  The Falklands Ride of Respect, sponsored by SAMA, South Atlantic Medal Association, is a group of Veterans that has been running for five years, visiting each Falklands conflict grave in the U.K. as well as many significant memorials as well.

  Falklands Representative marks service of Falkland Islanders at Houses of Parliament

  

  The Falkland Islands Government Representative to the UK and Europe, Mr Richard Hyslop, has paid tribute to the service of Falkland Islanders during the First and Second World War and those who helped liberate the Falkland Islands in 1982 by placing a commemorative stake in their honour at the UK Parliament’s Garden of Remembrance.
