Evacuation as Chile's Llaima volcano spews lava

Chile's Llaima volcano, one of South America's most active, is spewing lava in southern Chile, the government said on Tuesday, ordering an evacuation just two months after the spectacular eruption of the Chaiten volcano further south.

Forbes ranks Chile as tops in Latam in business

Forbes Magazine this week ranked Chile as the best Latin America country for doing business. Chile ranked 19th among all the world's countries, up nine notches compared to last year. Mexico ranked 43rd, Uruguay 44th.

Spanish group planning to build several hotels in Chile

Spanish hotel giant Sol Melía plans to open three hotels in Chile.
