Falklands‘ sovereignty: in UN letter, UK makes clear to Argentina its historical and legal position

Last 14 January, the United Kingdom Permanent Representative to the United Nations addressed a letter to the Secretary-General. The letter, in accordance with instructions received from the UK Government, was to refer to the letter dated 30 December 2020 from the Permanent Representative of Argentina to the United Nations, addressed to the Secretary-General.

Argentina expected to grow 5,4% in 2021, far from mitigating pandemic's impact

Johnson off to Scotland to confront growing support of independence referendum

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is traveling on Thursday to Scotland to confront growing support for another independence referendum. Ahead of his visit, Johnson said that Scotland, as a part of the UK, gained access to a coronavirus vaccine developed by the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca, and they are being administered by their shared armed forces, who are creating 80 new vaccine centers in Scotland.
